Cookies & local storage

The browser storage used for preferences, sessions and form protection.

Updated Operated by SpaceYard maintainers

01Session and security cookies

Laravel uses session and request-verification cookies to support protected forms, sign-in and security checks. A feedback form can use a session even when you do not have an account. Cookie names, lifetimes and security flags depend on the deployed Laravel configuration.

Maintainer sign-in may use an additional remember-me cookie when that option is chosen. Rejecting essential storage can prevent login or submission; it does not grant access to local projects.

02Preference storage

The public website saves your chosen light/dark theme in local storage under spaceyard.website.theme. The administration interface may separately retain appearance and sidebar preferences. These are browser preferences, not advertising identifiers.

The desktop getting-started guide stores its viewed step and Later/completed state locally in the desktop WebView. It does not upload your guide progress. Clearing that application storage can cause the guide to appear again.

03Download analytics are server-side

The built-in download analytics do not set a dedicated tracking cookie. Eligible requests are counted by the server using the privacy controls described in the privacy notice. No advertising or third-party marketing tracker is included by these features.

Additional analytics, embedded services or infrastructure added by an operator can change this. The operator must update this notice and implement any legally required choices before enabling non-essential tracking; this page does not itself provide a consent-management platform.

04Manage browser storage

Use your browser’s site-data controls to inspect or clear cookies and local storage. Clearing them may sign you out and reset your theme. Blocking all storage may prevent feedback or administration from working.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected by the built-in download counter. They are not a substitute for security logs or for the privacy practices of external sites you visit.
